World Debut Samba Performance for Oyster Festival

SAMBA PELO MAR
(The Whitstable Community Samba Band)
Since February this year rehearsals have been taking place in preparation for the world debut performance by Samba Pelo Mar in the opening procession of the Whitstable Oyster Festival. A group of nearly 60 people from across the district, of all ages (7-70), have come together to form the band. We have been learning a repertoire of uplifting and dynamic samba rhythms under the expert guidance our Maestra Ann Day.

These include a Stallholder Booking Form as well as guidance and hygiene documents which participants can use to apply for a trading space in what is likely to be one of the busiest events of the season.
